Andrew S. Criado, Senior Attorney
Andrew joined Robinson Law after serving for ten years as a prosecutor in the Alexandria Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, where he was a Senior Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney and headed the office’s White Collar/Fraud Unit. He is equipped with knowledge of how the other side operates, giving him an advantage in the criminal defense world. Andrew handles all adult and juvenile matters in Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington and in US Federal District Court.
Andrew is a member of the Fairfax County Bar Association, the Alexandria Bar Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He completed the Advanced DUI Training program in Williamsburg, VA and the Prosecutor Bootcamp at the National Advocacy Center in Columbia, SC.
Andrew has handled offenses by adults and juveniles ranging from DUI, reckless driving, larceny, and assault to fraud, embezzlement, malicious wounding, robbery, and murder. He has tried over 30 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials. Andrew knows how to guide clients through the complexities of the criminal justice system, from investigation to trial and appeal. He has earned a reputation as a keen legal mind and an unflappable courtroom advocate.
Andrew lives in Fairfax County with his wife and four children. He coaches youth soccer every spring and fall. Andrew was born on Constitution Day, and he is the son and grandson of Cuban and Irish immigrants.
